He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert H. Banks and Catherine Wyatt Banks; his grandson Evan Jacob Banks; his siblings, Jimmy Banks, Sylvia Sturgill and Jewel Day; his parents-in-law, Panny Day and Butler Day; his brothers-in-law, Bobby R. Day, James B. Day and Rickey W. Day; his nephew Tim Sturgill (Barbara); and his niece Terri Fischrogt.
He is survived by: his wife Millie Day Banks; his children, Meredith Bradford (Adam) and James Banks (Julie); his grandchildren, Brett Bradford, Spencer Banks, Ross Banks, Hannah Tackett (Tucker), Madison Bradford (Brayden) and Myra Banks; his great grandchild Reese Garvin; and his brother-in-law Ercel Sturgill.
