Bessie Newsome Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bessie Newsome of Little, Kentucky, who passed away on February 4, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Emmit Newsome; her daughter Shelby Yvonne Harmon; her grandson Richard Allen "Ricky" Harmon; and her sons-in-law, C. Clifford Harmon and Kermit H. Smith.
She is survived by: her children, A. Newsome (Joanna) of St. George, Sherril C. Smith and Virgie; her friend Little Creek; and her stepson Tom Branham of Asheville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there will be only graveside services on Saturday, February 6, 2021, 1:00P. M. at the Rob Newsom Cemetery on Little Robinson Creek.
