With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Berttye Sue Brown of Little, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 28, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Byron Brown, Sr.; her son Robert Byron Brown, Jr.; and her son-in-law Jacque Hughes. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Dent Brown Hughes of Little Mount and Kristin Leigh Brown Smith (Darrin) of Gainesville, Florida; her sister Bettye Zoe Kent of Frankfort; and her grandchildren, Andrew Barr, Amanda Milburn, Chase Smith and Izabel Wheeler. She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Little Mount Colored Cemetery, in care of Ryan Irvine, 1695 Aiken Road, Shelbyville, Kentucky 40065.
