He is survived by: his wife Betty Ruth Blakeman Cheek of Little Mount; his daughter Sharon Lynn Cheek of Louisville; his sister Betty Carol Armstrong of Taylorsville; his niece Beverly Armstrong of Taylorsville; and his nephews, Mark Armstrong of Taylorsville and Timmy Armstrong of Taylorsville.
