He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Smith and Clarinda Griffey Smith; his wife Priscilla Halcomb Smith; his son James Dudley Smith; his siblings, Marlyn, Vasel, Vadis (Bige), Mable, Howard, Jarret, Arthur, Mason, Della and Elvis; and his great grandchild Dominick.
He is survived by: his children, Shelia Breeding (Lance) of Premium, KY and Stanley Halcomb (Brenda) of Stanford, KY; his siblings, Garland Smith and Cassie Shepherd; his grandchildren, Dustin Halcomb (Kayla), Jeremy Halcomb (Lauren), Laura Sword (Daniel), Debbie Walker (Brandon), Donald S Walker (Tammy), Jenna Colon (Chino) and Amber Cornett (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Lilah, Olivia (Colby), Macauley, Cobe, Lainey, Shannon Ray, Logan, Dalen, Emmalynn, Julianna of Ashley, JR, Rhyland, Makayla, Chipper Mae, Liam James, Adelyn, Bradley, Brooklyn and Myla; and his great great grandchild Korali. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the TRI City Funeral Home (506 Holly St, Benham, KY 40807). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
