He was predeceased by: his parents, Osie Brooks and Edna Meredith Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ann Wilcher Brooks; his children, Kristy Brooks Hall (Todd) of Shelbyville, Jonathan Brooks (Angel) of Mobile, AL and Elizabeth Brooks Wright (Joseph) of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Daniel Hall, Abigail Hall of Jonathan, Brooks, Samuel Hall, Tyler Olivia Wright and Benjamin Hall; his great grandchild Jonas Davis; and his siblings, Reuben Brooks (Anita), Faye Minton (Dennis) and Chiquetta Dillion (Virgil). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
