He was predeceased by: his wife Mayme May Arthur Baker; his parents, Tom Burton Baker and Edith Petrey Baker; and his brother Roy Baker. He is survived by: his son John Baker Jr.; his grandchildren, Kevin Baker, Ryan Baker and Jennifer Ferrell; and his siblings, Tom Baker Jr., Roberta Spurlock and Freda Hacker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
