It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Idell Marcum Allen (Lily, Kentucky), who passed away on November 6, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Major Marcum and Pearlie Wombles Marcum; her siblings, Willie Marcum, Jonas Marcum, Bert Marcum, Birdie Marcum Hoskins and Ruby Marcum Allen; and her grandmother Sarah Wagers.
She is survived by: her husband James Allen; her children, Loyd Wayne England (Lisa) of Corbin, Major James Allen (Beverly) of Lily, Pearlie Ann Abner (Nate) of Lily, Martha Lynn Sizemore (Randy) of Corbin, Merkie Kay Tompkins (Blake) of Corbin and Brian Herman Hollin of Lily; her siblings, Elmer Marcum of London, Herman Marcum of Lily, C. H. Marcum of London, Eugene Marcum of East Bernstadt and Irene Marcum of Lily; and her grandchildren, Amanda Lentz, Herman Brown, Audrey Rice, Gina Sizemore, Sarah Abner, Ryan Tompkins, Baylie Tompkins and Brayden Tompkins.
