He was predeceased by: his stepmother Effie Spurlock; and his siblings, J. B. Spurlock, Everett Spurlock (Shirley), Glenn Fields, Bonnie Napier and Geneva Farris.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Farris Spurlock; his son Elton Wayne Spurlock (Tina); his grandchildren, Joshua Spurlock (Amy) and Teri King (Austin); his great grandchild Weston Wayne King; his sisters, Kathy Shepherd (Alvin) and Rhonda Watson (Darrell); and his sister-in-law Wilma Fields. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, hunting buddies and friends.
