He is survived by: his siblings, Claude Cogdill and Patricia Louise McDaniel; his wife Helena Hensley Cogdill; his siblings, Berchil Cogdill (Ocie), Bill Cogdill (Ethel), Charles Cogdill (Mary), Jerry Cogdill (Wilma), Ava Fields (Virgil) and Shirley Ellis; and his brother-in-law Hershel Hensley (Charlotte). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
