He is survived by: his children, Robert Sawyers (Hattie) of Lick Creek, Micah Trent Sawyers (Angela) of Prestonsburg and Janet Sawyers of Prestonsburg, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Brandi Baker (Anthony), Andy Short (Jodi), Robbi Bentley (Patrick "Packy"), Brittany Walters (David) and Logan Quackenbush (Seth); and his great grandchildren, Kevin Miller, Emma Short, Brinlee Walters, Sawyer Bentley, Ryleigh Baker, Hayden Baker, Ollie Chaney, Spencer Chaney, Branson "Bubba" Walters, Abbie Bentley and Cassie Bentley.
