It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Kays of Liberty, Kentucky, who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thelma Kays to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas Durham and Effie Nichols Durham; and her siblings, Eula Wesley, Ina Simmons, Lutricia Sassard, Mary Denson, Richard, Albert, Leonard and Manuel Durham.
She is survived by: her children, Gale Durham (Paula) of Liberty, Lanella Germain of Liberty, Danny Kays (Katie) of Waynesburg, Katie Herrington of Liberty and Ricky Herrington of Yosemite. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Bartle Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
