He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Lee and Mary Catherine Murphy; and his brother Greg Murphy, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Rick Murphy of Lebanon and Michelle Murphy of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Jasmine Ryen, Madison Ryen, Aubrey Ryen, Keely Murphy and Alyssa Murphy; and his siblings, Joe Murphy, Daniel Murphy, Shelia Murphy, Celesta Grigsby, Angela Murphy and Fonda Fogle.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bosley Funeral Home (246 S Proctor Knott Ave, Lebanon, KY 40033). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
