He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Speed Brackett and Marie Matherly Brackett; his grandson Bradley Marcus Brackett; and his brothers, Keith and Jeff Brackett.
He is survived by: his son Mark Brackett (Debbie) of Liberty, One; his grandson Spencer Brackett (Courtney) of Liberty, Two; his great grandchildren, Sadie Ruth and Levi Brackett; and his sisters, Brenda May (Tom) of Statesville, N. C., Anita Price of Danville and Winna Short (Kevin) of Monticello.
