He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clifford Emerson of Columbia and Kimberly Renee Durham Edwards (Bruce) of Liberty; his sister Misty Dawn Emerson of Stanford; his grandparents, Clifford, Annie Emerson, Clyde and Mary Durham; and his close friends, John Thomas, Bradley Dick and James Richard Durham.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle Moore Emerson of Liberty; his children, Hunter Emerson (Madison) of Liberty and Alyssa Pittman (Nick) of Liberty; his stepsons, Justin Alcorn (Michelle) of Somerset and Zachary Morgan of Liberty; his grandchildren, Weston Pittman, Myles Pittman, Anna Pittman, James Braxton Emerson, Brooklyn Alcorn and Brailey Alcorn; his siblings, George Emerson (Ginger) of Liberty, Byron Edwards of Liberty, Ronald Satterly (Melissa) of Liberty, Scott Emerson (Courtney) of Oneida, TN, Joey Emerson (Natasha) of Stanford and Jessica Jones (Drew) of Clinton, TN; his friends, Joey Wethington and Dave Waters; and his uncle David Goode.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McKinney-Brown Funeral Home (752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY 42539). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
