He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie E. Scott and Ruth L. Cochran Scott; and his brothers, Leonard, Greg, Jerry, Herman Wayne, Vernon, Larry and Bobby Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Darlene Allen of Russell Springs, Johnny Lee Scott (Jill) of Liberty, Vicky Renee Barnett (Paul) of Waynesburg and Michael Brent Scott of Liberty; and his siblings, Lonnie Scott, Mary Ruth Alsup, Shirley Olsen and Eva Albright. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
