He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis Vanoy and Lula Vanoy; his wife Nina Vanoy (Clements); and his siblings, Maxine, Coyd, Rollin and Garland.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sondra Carman (Barry) of Danville and Monica Vanoy of Liberty; his grandchildren, Benjamin Carman, Kate Canter (Caleb) and Jonathan Carman; his great grandchild Charlotte Canter; and his brother Hershel Vanoy.
