He is survived by: his wife Anna Margaret Peavey Murphy; his son Barry Murphy (Melissa) of Liberty; his granddaughter Meagan Murphy of Liberty; his great grandchildren, Izabella and Oakley Davidson of Liberty; and his siblings, Vearl Murphy (Norma) of Cincinnati, OH, Joe Murphy (Alice) of Yosemite, Lois Sandusky of Liberty and Wanda Vaught of Liberty.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bartle Funeral Home Chapel (142 KY-49, Liberty, KY 42539). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
