He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Salyers and Edith Davis Salyers; his son George Timothy "Skittles" Salyers, Jr.; and his siblings, Daril Salyers, David Salyers, Debra Salisbury, Vicky Lynn Byrd and Diane Salyers.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dakota Ann Salyers (Avi) of Russell Springs and Jennifer Sanford (Brian) of Russell Springs; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Gabby; his great grandchild Ryland; and his brothers, Jerome Salyers (Kimberly) and Ricky Salyers (Brenda). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
