She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Ellis and Margaret Qualls Ellis; her husband Bernard L. Peyton, Jr.; her son Steven Clay Peyton; and her siblings, James Robert Ellis, Ruby Reed, Katherine Leigh, Irene Lutterman, Cora Mae McWhorter, Pina Faye Nutgrass and Nannie Lee Atwood.
She is survived by: her son James L. Peyton of Nicholasville; her granddaughter Tammy Lynn Peyton of Lexington; and her great grandchildren, Alex Jordan Peyton and Gabrielle Gaines. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
