He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer "Ted" Rodgers and Lonnie Hardwick Rodgers; his daughter Paula Evans; his stepdaughter Wanda Cochran; his grandson David Jones; and his siblings, Buell Rodgers, Gary Rodgers, Clead Rodgers, Luther Rodgers, Thelma Rodgers and Ella Rose Rodgers.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Roy Rodgers of Liberty; his children, Dwayne Rodgers of Liberty, C. J. Rodgers of Oklahoma, Carla Poff (Bruce) of Liberty and Sandy Cross (Larry) of Dunnville; his stepchildren, Patrick Brockman of San Antonio, TX, Joy Brockman of Liberty and Gay McLaughlin of Largo, FL; and his siblings, Kenneth Rodgers (Dorothy) of Liberty, Russell Rodgers (Doris) of Liberty, Jeff Rodgers (Jo) of Russell Springs, Larry Rodgers (Cathy) of Ohio, Sue Ratliff of Liberty and Cathy Dries of Richmond. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
