He was predeceased by: his sisters, Darlene and Peggy O'Neil. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Frances Beach O'Neil; his children, Matthew M. O'Neil (Donna) of Charlotte, NC and Shawn Pelfrey (Steve) of Crestview Hills; his sisters, Arlene Griffin (Carl) of Dry Ridge and Rita Lewis (Wayne) of Ghent; and his grandchildren, Zoe Luebbe, Jyoti O'Neil, Sullivan O'Neil and Mez O'Neil.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Lighthouse Ministries, 190 Spruce St., Lexington, KY 40507 or on their website at lighthouselex.org.
