He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Carol Watters; his parents, William Sampson Watters and Flora Neal; and his siblings, David Watters and Faye Carter.
He is survived by: his daughter Angela Smith (Dustin); his grandchildren, Megan Zirbes (Austin) and Cainan Smith (Shelby Spore); his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Sangalli, Hayden Zirbes and Aria Zirbes; and his sister Clara Gray. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
