He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carolyn Johnston and Clyde Johnston; his wife Carol Lee Miller of Seymour; his children, Martha Lee (Marti), Franklin Dale (Frank), Frank Johnston of Lexington and Marti (Art Bradley) of Spring; his grandsons, Will Bradley of Seattle, WA. and Corey Bradley Wilson (Erik Wilson) of Houston; and his great grandchildren, Dylan and Ethan Wilson.

He continued to join the Kiwanis meetings on Zoom during the pandemic.
