He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Payne and Lula Payne (Gibson); his daughter Shelly Payne; and his siblings, Anna Morse, June Handshoe Cory and James Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Payne (Ball) of Lexington; his daughter Amy Roberts (John) of Lexington; and his siblings, Robert Payne (Yolly) of Florida and Barbara Beutel of Dayton, Ohio..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Frings & Bayliff Funeral Home (327 W Main St, Tipp City, OH 45371). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
