He is survived by: his children, William Dupree Gatewood (Eleonor) of Louisville and Tia Anthony (Erskine) of Louisville; his siblings, Dwight Gatewood (Devra) of Lexington, Donnie Gatewood of St. Mary, Georgia and Brenda Simpson (Charles) of Newport; and his stepsister Michele Groves of Louisville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
