He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter B. Fletcher and Mabel J. Fletcher; his brothers, Walter B. and John Preston; and his wife Allene Bach Fletcher.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Nagle (Keith) of Middlesboro and William F. Fletcher, Jr. of Lexington, Kentucky; and his grandson Joe Franklin Nagle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
