He is survived by: his wife Betty Boyd; his children, Scherer, William, Jr. and Felice Boyd; his grandchildren, Shane (Mistie), Aaron, Karmari, Jasmine, Donovan and Shelby Boyd; his great grandchildren, Braven and Kashel Boyd; and his siblings, Charles, Rosalene "Lucy" Bobbitt, Glenna "Tee" Sanderlyn, Bonnie, Vina, Stella, Anthony and Lenora "Baby Cakes" Boyd. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
