He was predeceased by: his parents, Zenas Dotson and Myrtle Dotson; and his brother Zenas Dotson Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Crystal Kinder (Dan) of Merrimac, WV. and Danielle Dotson; his siblings, Raymond Dotson of Lexington, KY, Kenneth Dotson, Gleda Mounts (Kenneth), Dyann Dotson and Abigail Dotson (Tim); his grandchildren, Christopher Dotson, Kirsten Dotson, Madison Tanner Woolum and Brooke Dotson; his great grandchild Realynn Evertt; his friend Wanda Blankenship; and his caregivers, Melissa Prater (Michael) and Rebecka Layne (Randal).
