It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendell A. Grider (Lexington, Kentucky), who passed away on July 20, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wendell A. Grider to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Bell and Gleah Andrew Grider; his brothers, Sam L. Grider and Donald Grider; his brother-in-law Gary Farley; and his nephew Josh Farley.

He is survived by: his significant other Ima Lea (Thrasher); his daughters, Deb Grider, Cindy Grider Williams (Eddie) and Carol Grider Weigand (Pete); his grandchildren, Matt Williams (Tamera Spangler) and Courtney Williams Wenta (Josh); his great grandchildren, Everett Williams, Beckett Williams, James Wenta, Emma Wenta and Charlotte Wenta; and his sister Doris Farley.

The family has requested that donations be made to Meadowthorpe Presbyterian Church (356 Hillsboro Ave, Lexington, KY 40511), Bluegrass Care Navigators (1733 Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, KY 40504) or Honor Flight Kentucky (P.O. Box 25025, Lexington, KY 40524).
