He was predeceased by: his brothers, E. Bertral Simmons and Stephen M. Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Margaret E. "Meme" Simmons; his siblings, Shirley A. Cooper, Donald D. Simmons (Carolyn) and Terry L. Simmons (Ruth); his children, Jeffry L. Simmons (Kathlene), Tracy A. Simmons and Scott A. Simmons; and his grandchildren, Nathaniel E. Pyle, Julian J. Simmons (Audrey), Carol Beth Hays (Braden), Heath H. A. Pyle, William L. Simmons, Claire D. McDermott, Andrew W. Madden, Seth P. J. Pyle and Colton T. Simmons.
