With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Wingate (Lexington, Kentucky), who passed away on January 16, 2020 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Chilli" Wingate, Sr. and Frances Wingate; and his siblings, Freda "Tiny" Combs, Betty "Chubby" Wingate and William "Bird" Wingate.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ida Wingate, Jacklyn "Poochie" Wingate-Harris (William), Pamela Wingate, Wilma and Carthel "Wayne" Wingate; his aunt Betty Wingate Douglas; his brothers, Leon Baily and Arthur Guy; his close friends, Alshelia Brown, Faye of Washington, Sharon Heard-Newcomb and Edwina Smarr; and his cousins, Joan Carol Bolton and Felicia Webb. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
