She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brown and Edith Brown; and her sister Evelyn Davis (Marty). She is survived by: her children, Dedre Brown (Jenny) and Shonda White (Eric); her siblings, Angela Hawkins (Terry), Robin (Sherri), Andre and Darral Brown (Alisa); and her close friends, Jerome Collins, Diane Gentry (George), Edith Turley (Ronnie), Cheryl Covington (Dave), Tammy Short, Donna Braxton (Gilbert), Laine Brown (Wanda), Willie Booker, Vickie Clay, Jewell Brady (James), Randi Rowady and Elizabeth Gentry. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 13 nieces and nephews.
