She was predeceased by: her husband Asa Nick Thompson, Jr.; her parents, John Burns and Nellie Campbell Gilvin; and her sister Carolyn Crockett (Bobby). She is survived by: her daughters, Nicki Swiderski (Felix) and Susan Kearns; her grandchildren, Patricia Swiderski, Joseph Swiderski (Trish) and Nathan Kearns; her great grandchildren, Zachary, Sydney and Brielle Swiderski; her brother Gene Gilvin (Jean); and her nephew Tom.
