With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virgil G. Hughes (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Bakersfield, Missouri, who passed away on October 26, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Sidney Hughes; and his sister Ruby Hughes Horne. He is survived by: his daughters, Cheri Issel (Dan) of Denver, CO and Vicki Sageser (Gene) of Lexington, KY; his grandchildren, Sheridan Whipple (Rick) and Scott Issel (Kristen); his great grandchildren, Ben of Denver, CO, Addy Whipple of Denver, CO, Brody of Denver, CO, Greyson of Denver, CO and Henry Issel of Denver, CO; and his niece Linda Goodlett (Lloyd) of Lexington, KY.
