It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgie Elliott Jones of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Stoney Fork, Kentucky, who passed away on October 12, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Elliott and Carrie Hoskins Elliott; her husband Lester Jones; her daughter Connie Jones; her grandson Conrad Elliott; her great grandchild Landon Marshall; and her brothers, Lige Elliott, Paul Elliott and Archie Elliott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Elliott Rodriguez, Peggy Elliott, Kathy Arnett, Diana Cunningham and Priscilla Stamper; and her siblings, Wanda (Kermit Creech), Joyce Elliott, Christine E. Mooney and Dan (Ida Elliott). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
