She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Cole; her parents, Frank Spinks and Bertie Spinks; and her siblings, Marshall, Guy, Owen, Vernard, Orion, Ottie, Cleo Spinks, Ada White and Reva Dameron.
She is survived by: her sister Loie McDermott; her nieces and nephews, Janene Kaufman, Francene Katzen, Phyllis Webber, Roberta Cross, Roger McDermott and Steve Cole; her brother-in-law Clyde Cole; and her close friend Juanita Davis.
