It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Christine Combs (Lexington, Kentucky), who passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harvey Ransdell and Allie May Ransdell (Gritton); her husband Robert Gene Combs; her children, Monica Rose Ware (Wayne) and Robert Stephen Combs (Janice); her grandchildren, Caitlin Rene'Combs Gillespie (Chris), Victoria Lynn Ware Tzouanakis (Jacob) and Casey Stephen Combs; and her great grandchildren, Eiley Rene'Gillespie and Easton Christopher Gillespie.
