She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Michael and Mable M. Smith Hale; her son Gary Sidwell; and her brother Danny Hale. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Sidwell and Linville Sidwell; her stepchildren, Karen Anderson (James), Gail Scargth (Steve) and Nancy Gray; her sisters, Gwen Asberry and Ann Delaney; her son-in-law Larry Gilpin; her grandchildren, Christopher Gilpin, Viola Parmley, Josh and Sam Estes; and her great grandchildren, Aquila Morgan (Justin) and Annie Boaz. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests donations be made in her memory to The Church at Athens, 6991 Athens Boonesboro Rd., Lexington KY 40509. " You will never forget your Mother's face, her voice, or, her gentle touch".
