He was predeceased by: his spouse Mayme Lewis (Shumate); and his parents, Charles Lewis and Pearl Lewis. He is survived by: his brother Kenneth Lewis of Quapaw, OK. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In observance of the current COVID-19 recommendations, face-coverings and other precautions are recommended.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation of Joplin in care of the funeral home.
