He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ralph Watkins and Geneva Utley Watkins; his daughter Laura Ann Troutman (Watkins); and his son-in-law Michael Troutman. He is survived by: his wife Jean Gover Watkins; his sister Mary Sites; his children, Steve Watkins (Gail) and Amy Rehm; and his grandchildren, Aubrey Watkins, Laura Marie Thompson (Patton), Elizabeth Adams (Shawn), Hannah Anderson (Benjamin), Noah Troutman (Raye), Ellen Rogers (Max), Zach Rehm and Molly Rehm. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
