He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Hill Phelps and Richard Dennis Pergande; and his brother Richard Pergande, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Delia Thompson Pergande of Lexington; his children, Julia Margaret Pergande of Washington, D. C., Quinn Thomas Pergande of Lexington and Isabel Frances Pergande; and his siblings, Sherri Pergande of Bowling Green and Terry Pergande of Boise. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Using his contacts in the dental business, he spearheaded the inaugural drive for donations that led to its founding.
