He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ann Dudley Bradlee Tauchert; his parents, Eleanor Richmond and Elwyn Harding Tauchert; his daughters, Amy Harding Tauchert (Peter Anthony Ferguson) and Sarah Richmond Rushing; his grandson Dudley Gardner Rushing; his daughter Rebecca Hall (Paul Edward McGowan); his grandchildren, Megan Loring, Theodore Richmond McGowan and Macy Gardner (Timothy Paul Kruckeberg); his son Charles Wilbur Tauchert; his grandsons, Charles Wilbur, Jr. and Matthew Harding Tauchert; and his sister Martha Tauchert Leveroni. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
