She is survived by: her close friend Jimmy; her son Ben; her parents, Eavy Hopkins and Fannie Hopkins; her husband James Gibson Wilhite Jr.; her sons, Gibson Wilhite (Katie), Samuel Wilhite (LaKole) and Benjamin Wilhite; her granddaughters, Reilly and Caroline Wilhite; her sister Melissa (Greg Dunbar); and her nieces and nephews, Ella, Ann and Taylor Dunbar.
