We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2023, at the age of 88, Sylvan Ferrell of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Majestic, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Ferrell and Mary McCoy Ferrell (Drue DeVenny Ferrell); and his siblings, Norma McClellan, Lillian Ferrell, Phillip Ferrell and Phyllis Hamilton.

He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Boothe (Darvin) and Linda Mathies (Christopher); his brother Charley Ferrell (Vivian); and his pet Jack. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, grandchildren.

Donations to either organization can be made in his name.
