It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sue Chipley in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on October 25, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Sue Chipley to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Chalmer DeBorde and Lura DeBorde; her brothers, JB and Jackie; and her granddaughter Samantha Chipley.

She is survived by: her children, Yolonda Wood (Felix), Steve Chipley (Phyllis), Jeff Chipley (Marcia), Kolonda Johnson and Kevin Chipley; her grandsons, Chris Chipley, Bo Wood, Colin Pickett, Evan Chipley, Tyler Wharton, Don Cizik and Warren Chipley; and her brother Jack DeBorde. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memoriam to Bryan Station Baptist Church Missions or Adult Day Health at Easter Seals Cardinal Hill (Mamaw Sue), 2050 Versailles Road, Lex, KY 40504.

“Dear Family of Sue, Our family was saddened to hear about the passing of our lst cousin Sue. Her dad Chalmer was a brother to my mom Myrtle DeBorde Wells. Sue was very special and I will cherish our memories. Unfortunately, we just found out that she left her earthly family to join her heavenly family. We would have paid our respects at her funeral if we had known. God Bless her family. Marilyn Wells Peterson”
