He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Million Brooks; and his stepfather James B. Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Mary Carrico Brooks; his sons, Brian, Kevin and Michael; his sister Sandra Lengel (Steve); his niece Jackie Bodenhamer (Josh); and his nephew Steven Lengel (Jeanie).
