As Stephen departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Stephen. Though Stephen may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his father David L. McCord; and his sister Traci Lynn McCord. He is survived by: his wife Anna McCord; his mother Deborah McCord; his children, Justin Michael McCord and Amber Michelle McCord; his sister Angela Brown (Tony); and his nieces, Alexis Wingate and Brooklynn Thaw (SueSue).
Stephen's final act was to give the gift of life through organ donation and several people will live on thanks to his unselfish desire to always help others in need.
