It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Douglas Gay of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Hinton, West Virginia, who passed away on September 1, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Tyler Newton (George) and Charles Siebert Gay. He is survived by: his wife Linda S. Gay; his children, Stephen Gay (Craig Logan), Monica Townley (Russ) and Erica Pitts (Aubrey); his grandchildren, Scott Colvin (Rachael), Brian Colvin, Cameron Pitts and Lakin Pitts; and his great grandchild Fallon Colvin.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Steve's memory to Bluegrass Care Navigators or Southland Christian Church.
