He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnett Stanley Adkins and Dewey Roosevelt Adkins; his wife Betty Ellen Manis; and his siblings, Paul, Anise and Frankie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn Martin (late Charles), Hope Vickers (Darrell) and April Caudill (Gale); and his grandchildren, Andrea Peacock (Doug), Christopher Martin, Joseph "JP" Martin (Traci), Angela Erdman (Tom), Rob Powell (Johna), Ashley McNeill (Matt), Sarah Millen (Scott), Stephen Kestel, Allison Branford and Rachal Breeze. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren and two great-greatgrandchildren.
